In response to your request at the regular city council "meeting of May 10, 1982,, I' I have prepared the following conditions of occupancy for the, GTE addition located at 8840 SW Burnham Street. CONDITIONS 1. Greenwa Dedication GTE's occupancy permit for a new structure/addition located at 8840 SW Burnham Street (Washington County Tax Map 281 2DB, Tax Lot 100) is expressly conditioned upon: a. The dedication of all land on Lot ' 100 that lies 'in the greenway/ l floodway as described in Engineer's report to the City of Tigard, and b. Burnham Street in Tigard. As I indicated in our discussion, it is our desire to process the City's request as expeditiously as possible. However, as yet, we have not received a formal request from the City for dedication of the property and detailing specifically the property in desired. We` are � n receipt of the Planning Staff recommendations directed, to Ms. B jel ke, General Telephone Company of the Northwest, Inc. , from Ms. Newton, dated April 26, 1982. The basis for the appeal is that the Planning Director did not require the dedi- cation of land within the 100-year floodplain. A portion of the GTE site is within the 100-year floodplain and is designated greenway on the City's Compre- hensive Plan. (see attached map) The staff has contacted GTE officials in Everett by phone and letter. GTE officials in Tigard feel that there won't be a problem with the dedication and • we have sent requested information to GTE's land division in Everett (see attached) . The Site Design Review was approved with conditions which General Telephone acknowledged and agreed to on April 9, 1982. On March 26, 1982, Neighborhood Planning Organization Number One (NPO #1) filed an appeal to the Planning Director's approval of the GTE Design Review. NPO #1 is one of seven Neighborhood Planning Organizations formed by City Ordinance as citizen's advisory groups to the Tigard City Council. The NPO members are appointed by City Council upon recommendation by the, City's Planning Commission.
