Please be advised that the Design. Review Board at their regular
meeting of March 23, 1979, approved your request for design
review approval of new exterior finish for an existing building.
This approval is subject to the following conditions :
1. That a landscape plan be submitted and approved by s:I
design review.

2. That the broken curbing be replaced. ''
3. That the area surrounding the bus shelter be improved with t'
more plantings and curbing of some sort to separate the

Previous Action: Site design review of Girod's grocery SDR 24-75
Parking Requirements:

The applicant's use is the same as the previous use of the site, he parking
requirements are met with the existin g parking.
Site plan and Architectural Review:
The applicant is not requesting a comprehensive review of the site, and has
submitted no landscape, site, or irrigation plans. Elevation drawings have
been submitted along with color samples. The elevation drawings are
unclear as to the width of the proposed color bands. The landscaping at
the site is inadequate, Many of the plants are dead. The parking area is
not screened from th,e street and there are sections of broken curbing. .
Staff Recommendation:
Staff recommends approval of the proposed exterior colors with the following
conditions:
I. That a landscape plan be submitted and approved by design review.
2. That the broken curbing be replaced.
3. That the area surrounding the bus shelter be improved with more plant ngs.
