Of principal concern was the need for pedestrian facilities along the highway frontage. In order to provide for pedestrians, only two alternatives would be acceptable to us ; 1 ) Applicant install curb in sidewalk along the frontage ' 2) Provide a bicycle path behind the ditch. This swau1d • require a right-of-way dedication. Maintenance, of the path would require g y be either the responsibility of the applicant or the City. 6 In addition to the aboVe we would ask that the applicant's • drainage plan comply with the City's retention ordinance In regard to access , if option 2 is considered under the pedestrian proposal we would ask that radii of. the existing ing access b� �n proved. Is that right? If it is, approximately when will you be calling for them, and how detailed , should they be? We have the working drawings for the extension already, done, but want to talk with you before the landscape architect completes his part. He has seen the plans, and just has to make his drawings now in the final. Also, I need to discuss the paving with you. Jim said you would want to look at 'the easements. Actually, there is only one, and it was recorded when �, ' we bought our building and land from Edwards in Sept. of 1976, and was the easement that the Planning Commission had when they gave the permission'to open and refurbish our present office x don't think that there is another easement of any kind to be considered at all, except the existing one. I've had a copy of that one made for you, '• ,� r in case the city files don't keep them. Enclosed is the Site Development and Design Review Application and the check.
