SUBJECT: Request from Applicant to change Location of a Pedestrian Access r '
to Centerbury Square. SDR 14-78
DATE: March 26, 1979
As a condition of the ZC 11-76 for the Robert Randall Apartments, a
pedestrian/bikepath easement and path to the Canterbury Shopping Center
was required. The Site plan, as approved by Site Design Review, shows the
pedestrian bikepath extending eastward along the southern property line
and ending at the eastern lot line. This is not in keeping with
Re: Intent of the ZC Condition. The bikepath, as shown, does not provide
access to Canterbury Square.
After discussion with Ed Freeman, project supervision staff has agreed.
that the pedestrianway/bikepath should extend southward off the apartment •
parking lot and connect with the existing stairway from the Canterbury
back lot. Thereby providing direct access to the shopping center. r
