LOT 22 — ASH CREEK ESTATES

Reference: eoPacific Engineering, Inc., Final Soil Engineers report, Ash Creek Estates, May 17, 2007
On July 21', 22n and 25 2011, GeoPacific Engineer, Jim Imbrie, visited the above - mentioned site to
review foundation excavation, house layout, and subgrade bearing conditions. We understand that
the proposed residence is a two -story single- family home with framed garage floor and a crawlspace.
The ex.. :av ;• . .Yly exposed medium stiff to stiff, native, clayey silt and compacted fill. Al the far
southwei: s;,dne granular fill was placed up to 3 feet deep. Density tests indicated that it
exceeded compaction standards at 98 percent relative compaction.

The observed subgrade is adequate for spread foundation support to a maximum allowable bearing
pressure of - i r W 'f" Dsf. Footings should remain outside of a 1 H:1 V plane from vertical cuts. GeoPacific
should review tt final backfilled configuration and perform density tests as necessary on the backfill.
