FUNCTION
For bracing fire sprinkler pipe against sway and seismic disturbances.
The pipe attachment component used to secure the fire sprinkler piping to the brace pipe.
INSTALLATION
* Place assembly over sprinkler pipe to be braced. -
* Insert bracing pipe through MODEL "E" under channel bracket.
* Tighten both hex nuts until gage spring lays flat.
FEATURES
* Can be used to brace SCH'10 and SCH 40 pipe.
* Field adjustable - Eliminates pre- engineering of brace pipe length.
* Requires no threading.
* Can be used as a 4 -way riser brace.
* Gage spring allows easy verification of necessary minimum torque. (5LB/FT)

INSTALLATION
* Insert brace pipe into fitting and against swivel bolt..
* Tighten set screw until it contacts tightly against the fitting.

* To be used with plain end pipe.
* Swivel design allows attachment at any angle.
* Visual inspection, proper torque when set screw head contacts bracket.
