This letter is in response to your Plan Review letter dated August 24, 2011. 1. The clear height at the mezzanine is 9' -3 ". This is to the bottom of the girder that runs north & south, or parallel to the stairs, and is located at the top of the landing. This will be the lowest point at the mezzanine. 2. The batt insulation in the mezzanine floor will be installed in a holder assembly of the bottom of the joists. This will remove the cavity thus meeting the requirement ofNFPA 13 8.6.4.1.2(4).
