This letter is in response to your plan review correction letter dated June 19, 2007.
Permit #BUP2007 -00288
1. Calculations and diagrams showing support for walls, storefronts, etc., for lateral and
vertical load per ASCE7 9.6.1.3.
a. Calculations have been included, corrections for additional bracing have been
added to sheets A00.9, A08.3, A08.4 and A08.6
2. Taking in consideration the exceptions in OSSC 603.1, provide noncombustible
construction throughout.
a. All of the exposed combustible construction is not structural, thus not governed
by OSSC 603.1, but by OSSC 803 Wall and Ceiling Finishes. Table 803.5, Use
Group M, Rooms and Enclosed Spaces allows a Class C flame spread rating.
Furthermore all of the wall and ceiling finishes are separated from the structure
by a layer of 5/8" gypsum board.

a. Calculations have been included.

This bulletin, if issued after the execution of the contract, described proposed revisions of the contract documents and
requests from contractor, the amount of change, if any, in contract sum to accomplish the work described. It is
assumed no change in contract time will be necessary unless contractor submits written request for time extension,
including justification, with his proposal for work described in this bulletin.
Except as otherwise described herein, or as shown on drawings issued with this bulletin, current contract documents
apply to proposed work.
This bulletin is not an order to do work. After receipt and review of the proposal requested, a change order will be
issued to authorize execution of the work, or portion thereof, if the owner so directs.
