The plan review was performed under the State of Oregon Structural Specialty Code (OSSC)
1998 edition; and the Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue Ordinance 99 -01 (TVFR99 -01) 1999
edition. The submitted plans are approved subject to the following.
• Inspector to verify coverage in existing corridors at rear exit.
GENERAL
1. A minimum of 18 inches shall be maintained between top of storage and ceiling
sprinkler deflectors. Standard 9 -1, section 4 -4.1.6 OSSC
2. Sidewall sprinkler deflectors shall be located not more than 6 inches or less than 4
inches from walls and ceilings. Standard 9 -1, section 4- 4.2.3.3 OSSC
3. Clearances shall be provided around all piping extending through walls, floors,
platforms and foundations. Minimum clearance for pipe sizes 1 inch through 3 '/2
inches shall be not less than 1 inch. Standard 9 -1, section 4- 5.4.3.4
Approved Plans: 1 set of approved plans, bearing the City of Tigard approval stamp, shall
be maintained on the jobsite. The plans shall be available to the Building Division inspectors
throughout all phases of construction. 106.4.2 OSSC
