The plan review was performed under the State of Oregon Structural Specialty Code (OSSC),
2004 edition; and the Oregon Fire Code (OFC), 2004 edition. The submitted plans are
approved subject to the following.
General requirements
1. Upon completion of the installation, fire detection and alarm systems shall be subject
to acceptance tests as contained in the installation standards and as approved by the
Building Official. The City of Tigard, Building Inspector shall be notified before any
required acceptance testing. It shall be unlawful to occupy any portion of the building
until the detection and alarm systems have been tested. Section 901.5 OFC
2. Connections to the light and power service shall be on a dedicated branch circuit. The
circuit and connections shall be mechanically protected. The circuit disconnecting
means shall have a red marking, shall be accessible only to authorized personnel, and
shall be identified as "FIRE ALARM CIRCUIT CONTROL ". Section 4.4.1.4
NFPA 72.
Approved Plans: 1 set of approved plans, bearing the City of Tigard approval stamp, shall
be maintained on the jobsite. The plans shall be available to the Building Division inspectors
throughout all phases of construction. 106.4.2 OSSC
