The following comments are in response to your plan review dated June 10, 1997 My
numbered responses correlate to your numerical listings under each category
UNIFORM FIRE CODE:
1. Noted on sheet 1 1
2 6" compacted rock and 1 -1/2" of pavement should provide required support
3. See note and diagram on sheet 1 1
4 The existing fire hydrant is located in the NW corner of the site and has been noted
on site plan.
5 I have requested flow information from Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue We will
forward the information to your office when we have received it
ONE AND TWO FAMILY DWELLING CODE:
1 A note descnbing the connection has been noted on sheet 2 2
2 The loft is being supported by the 3' X 3' pads The stem wall and footings are for
support of roof and wall supports I have increased the size of the 3' X 3' pads at the
west side for the mezzanine support
3 Smoke detector requirements have been noted on sheet 2 1
4 The specifications noted the correct insulation factors The sections on sheet 4 1
have been revised to reflect the correct values

4. The insulation factor on your plans, does not meet Oregon Energy Standards. Walls shall
be R -21, Vaults R-30, Crawl R -25, and Attics R -38.
