FAX 526 -2538 s -- & RE October 13, 1998 Bob Poskin, Plans Examiner City of Tigard 13125 SW Hall Blvd. Tigard, OR 97223 re: Gensco Fire Access Bob, This correspondence is to document our conversation of October 9, 1998 regarding the Gensco building located at 7650 SW Tech Center Dr., Tigard. Due to the building's location on the property and the proximity of the railroad right -of -way, it is impractical to provide fire department access to within 150 feet of the rear of the building. Because the building is completely protected with an approved automatic fire sprinkler system and is separated into areas of less than 12,000 square feet by approved area separation walls, the Fire District will waive the requirement for fire department access as allowed in Uniform Fire Code, Section 902.2.1, Exception (1). Please contact me at (503) 526 -2661 with any additional questions. Sincerely, e✓. 77 777, YYl-- Eric T.
