Flanagan Arboricultural Consultants Monday, April 14, 2008 Dale Richards Windwood Construction 12655 SW North Dakota St. Tigard, OR 97223 RE: Tree Protection for Lot # 7 at Ash Creek Gates After reviewing the site plan that you faxed over I have the following recommendation regarding tree protection for the following trees; Tree # 33 — 30 inch diameter Douglas fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii) Tree protection fencing shall be placed at least: East side - 16 feet to the east from the tree's trunk face. North side — Along the south edge of the sidewalk north of the tree to the property from the east line defined above to the west property line. West side — Tree is just east of the west property line so the property to the west will serve as the tree protection of the west side of the tree. No fence will be erected as it is private property; the west side of the tree protection fencing will be left open. South side — Tree protection area to extend at least 30 feet.frotn the south face of the tree's trunk. This side of the tree protection area will be included in the tree protection area that is to be established for tree # 34. Tree # 34 — 38 inch diameter Douglas fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii Tree protection shall be placed at least; East side — Approximately 23 feet to the east of the tree's trunk face although the north to the south line is defined by the tree protection for tree # 30. North side — Tree protection area to be included in the area for tree # 33 that is placed along the south edge of the sidewalk on the north side of the property. West side — Tree is just east of the west property line so the property to the west will serve as the tree protection of the west side of the tree. As no fence will be erected as it is private property, the west side of the tree protection fencing will be left open. South side — Tree protection area to extend at least 38 feet from the south face of the tree's trunk or to the edge of the lot's property line. Tree protection fencing is to be erected along the south boundary line to intersect with the north south line that is driven by the placement of the east side of the tree protection fence for tree # 33.
