Re: Permit Applications
Dear Shannon,
It has always been our policy on submittal of plumbing permit applications that if the
permit does not require plan review, less than 9 fixtures, that it be submitted with the
appropriate fee amount. We then process the permit and mail it back to you.
If the permit does require plan review, 9 fixtures or more, then we do not require any fees
at submittal. • The plans examiner will verify the fixture count during the plan review and
figure the correct amount of the permit fees at that time. We then give you a call with the
total permit fees when we make the permit "ready ".
I hope this clarifies our submittal process for you. If you have further questions
regarding this matter, please give any of us in Development Services a call at 639 -4171,
extension 304.
Sincerely,
Debbie Adamski

Re: Permit Applications
To Whom It May Concern:
I have received -the enclosed returned permit application in the mail that I had originally
sent to you. There was a note attached saying, "Please enclose check and return for
processing...
1 am confused by this as I was under the impression that the application needed to be
processed and then someone from your office would call me to tell me the balance due.
At which point I come in and pay for it. I have been obtaining permits from the City of
Tigard for well over two years now and I have never had an application returned to me. I
never submit checks with the application because sometimes the amount due turns out to
be different than what was originally figured.
Please let me know if the policy has changed or if I have always been in error. It will be
helpful in the future to know the correct procedures.
In conclusion, please find the enclosed check and process the application as soon as
possible.
Respectfully Submitted,
