ORDINANCE NO 84-,
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO 83 -52 AND REVISING THE FLOODPLAIN AND
WETLANDS MAP; AND DECLARING AND ° EMERGENCY, (CPA 3-84)
WHEREAS, the City of Tigard adopted a Comprehensive Plan for the City by
ordinance 83 -52 on November 9, 1983;_ and
WHEREAS, the Land Use Comprehensive Plan Map was adopted as part of the
Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS certain lands were designated Open Space Land Use

ComprL A;ens ive Plan Map, and
WHEREAS, open space is defined as lands dedicated for city parks or greenway
or land within the 100 year floodplain; and
WHEREAS, certain lands designated as open space do not fall within the

definition of open space; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the Planning Commission on April 17,

1984, and a recommendation was made to the City Council, and.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the City Council on April 30, 1984,
and the Council voted unanimously to amend the Land Use Comprehensive Plan Map
to include only lands within the floodplain, dedicated greenway or park land.

COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT /CPA 2 -84 /ZONING UPON ANNEXATION
A recommendation by the City of Tigard Planning Commission to add a
policy to the City's Comprehensive Plan requiring that lands annexed to
the city be given the city zoning designation which most closely
conforms to the existing county designation for the property. The
