Your plans have been reviewed for compliance with the 1999 Oregon Mechanical Specialty
Code. The following items require your attention.
1. Sheet 2 of 3 — Section A/2 provides details for only one hood and duct system. Provide
details for both.
2. Provide vibration isolation connectors on both systems. OMSC, Section 506.3.4.4.
3. Exhaust outlets shall terminate not less than 24 inches above the roof surface. OMSC,
Section 506.16. Provide details.
4. The exhaust outlet on the larger hood exceeds the maximum capture of particulate which
is 12 feet. OMSC, Section 507.16. Provide details.
5. • Makeup air requirements are inadequate. See OMSC, Section 508.1 Provide details.
