The City of Tigard has granted Occupancy as of February 24, 1997. See the following
copy of the approved building inspection. This final inspection notice serves as the
Temporary Certificate of Occupancy, until which time we are able to process the
Certificate of Occupancy.
The Certificate of Occupancy will be mailed to the property owner as soon as possible.
Given our current workload level, this could take a couple of months.

8. The suspended ceiling grid shall be of 1 -Hour fire- resistive construction if the Type I hoods
are within 18 inches of the ceiling and shall be flashed with a minimum 22 gage steel or with

Response: The ceiling has been changed to conform to this requirement.

9. Upon completion and before final approval of the installation, a performance test shall be
made to verify the rate of airflow and proper operation of the Type I hood and duct systems.

The following is in response to plan check from Linhart- Peterson - Powers and Associates dated September 12,
1996:
Item 1: Sheet T -1 - occupancy has been changed to A3 /B.
Item 2: Project has been submitted to Washington County Health Department for approval.
Item 3: The prefabricated walk -in has been submitted for approval to the prefab structure section of the Oregon
Building Codes Division. See enclosed approval.
Item 4: UL 510 listing is enclosed.
Item 5: An approved sign indicating maximum occupant load in the dining room will be located as directed by the
Fire Marshall prior to or during a final walk through with the Fire Marshall for approval.
Item 6: See enclosed letter from Mech. Engineer, MFIA, dated 9/13/96.
Item 7: The suspended ceiling has been changed to construction and flashed with 22 gauge steel. See enclosed
Sheet A -13.
Item 8: Specifications require the contractor to perform a test to verify that the airflow and operation of the type 1
hood and duct systems complies with code and owner's requirements.
Item 9: This site plan indicates that the left handicap parking space is van accessible. Detail 19 on sheet A2
(enclosed) is revised to indicate that the sign in front of the space will be installed accordingly.
We assume this completes all requirements for Fire, Life and Safety, and structural approval for permit. We
understand that mechanical, plumbing, and electrical submittals for permit were made at the same time as these
construction documents were submitted. We further understand that the subcontractors for these trades will be
required to pick up these permits in person. Please let us know if there are any questions to be responded to as
soon as you can.
