Box 69039 Portland, OR 97201 -0039 RE: 196123 Geraldene Moyle Electrical Plan Review Carl Jr's The plans submitted were reviewed for conformity with the 1996 National Electrical Code (NEC) and the State of Oregon Electrical Specialty Code. The following was noted: 1. The 1996 NEC is the minimum electrical requirement. 2. Need the service electrical fault current projections. 3. Service will require grounding the electrode to the rebar (UFER) system. 4. Engineer requirements for grounding conductor in all conduits will be enforced. 5. NEC and Mechanical Codes requie GFCI protected receptacles on roof to service mechanical equipment. 6. All food processing equipment to have label from approved testing lab. This includes the heat blanket, which needs inspection prior to installation (cover). 7. Sheet E -3 lists the following systems that need permits prior to any cover (wall or ceiling) inspections: A. HVAC system B. Computer (Data) system C. Cash Register (Cash wrap) D. Auto Mobile system (Drive -up) E. Speaker system F. Nutone - may be part of speaker G. Fire system H. Security system I. Signs 8. Pay telephone vender to coordinate installation with Electrical Inspector. 9. Telephone Board (E -3/8), Irrigation, ATM (E -2/3), and Telephone equipment not to violate clearance (NEC 110 -16) of Electrical Service Equipment and Panels. 10. The feeder to rooftop fan gutter to be sized per NEC 430 -62(a) along with the applicable TAP rules. 12. There will be no plumbing or mechanical equipment, line or vents in the Electrical Room. 13. Electrical Room may not meet NEC 110 -16 requirements for clearance (3 feet) unless doors will give full access. The lighting in this room may not be adequate. 14.
