Review and Comment Number of pages including cover 3 Project No. 0287 Project: TIGARD - PACIFIC & GAARDE Regarding: PC# 9 -78c Enclosure, Descrintion 1 - proposed condition at pedestrican walkway 1 - existing grading plan • Remarks: Jim - After our conversation and calculating the slopes, I realized that you were countin the detectable surface as 3' long where we are really showing 6' in length, therefore our overall length of the walkway is 41' from the back of the sidewalk down to finished asphalt. I recalculated the slopes as shown on the attached sketch. I believe we now meet the maximum 1:20 slope to still be considered a sidewalk and not a ramp. I still question the requirement for the recorded legal description because when we first began the project and inquired about a lot merger, we were told by the City of Tigard that the Tax Lot Consolidation was all that needed to be filed with Washington County, which was filed in August. Subsequent discussions with the Assessors office confirms this and have stated they have never had the city require a combined legal description. We would like to expedite this permitting as quickly as possible. Please call me to verify the ramp /walkway issue and.the legal description.
