The plan review was performed under the State of Oregon Structural Specialty Code (OSSC) 2004 edition
and 2004 Oregon Fire Code as amended by TVF&R. The following information is required in order to
complete the review.
FIRE LIFE AND SAFETY / GENERAL
1. The structural review was preformed by Miller Consulting Engineers .
2. Provide engineered design information on ceiling, partitions and soffit bracing showing components meet
chapter 16 and ASCE 7 -02, or if using a tested and listed system provide framing and construction details
along with listing and installation information. OSSC sec.106
3. Occupant count of the Fl appears o conflict with OSSC 1004. Please clarify occupant load and exit access
path. OSSC sec. 106
4. Please clarify code section on sheet A0.2, sections noted conflict with current OSSC.
When submitting revised drawings or additional information, please attach a copy of the enclosed City of
Tigard, Letter of Transmittal. The letter of transmittal assists the City of Tigard in tracking and processing
the documents.
