See Sheets A1.1 and A2.1.
TESTING REQUIREMENTS
1. From drawings provided by the owner of the existing structure, the structural systems

b.) Second floor -- glu -lam beams, 2 x 10 - 2 x 12 framing @ 12" o.c. typ., with 1/2"
CDX plywood
c.) Columns -- 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" (typ.) and 6" x 6" tube steel columns
d.) Exterior non - loadbearing walls -- 2 x 4 wood studs @ 16" o.c. w/ 1/2" plywood
sheathing, with wood siding or brick veneer. 1/2" gyp bd on interior surfaces.
From this information, we concluded the construction to be Type V (N --
J Unprotected) rather than the Type V -- 1 hour protected as you indicated in your
7.7 2. plan review letter. Please clarify this situation for this, will impact our construction
outlined in No. 6 "STRUCTURAL" described above. If the 1 -hour classification is not
