Geo Oberkamper - Renewing old "X" status permits. Page 1

From: Hap Watkins
To: #Dsts
Date: 2/28/00 4:52PM
Subject: Renewing old "X" status permits.
Periodically, I will e-mail you that a particular permit may be renewed, the fees that must be paid, and the
method to record the renewal.
Usually, there will be little or no plan review to be done, so rarely will we charge any plan review fees. If
we should, I will let you know for each case.
If substantial work is to be done, a minimum of 50% of the PERMIT fees will be collected for renewal (plus
tax). If little work is to be done I will let you know the renewal fee as I expect the hours involved to be at
$50 /hr.
The steps in P ;P will be 1) Enter action "HOLD released to ISSUED" with PASS for disposition, my initials
"HAP ", and a note in the memo field that it was authorized by me, the fee collected and the receipt number
(this returns permit to "I" status). 2) Enter action "MISCELLANEOUS" with PASS for dispostion, my initials
"HAP ", and a note in the memo field "Permit renewed" (this is to make a starting point for "last activity" that
any future aging report will understand.
Ask if they wish to request an inspection at that time.

1. Refer to the attached Site Plan Sheet A1.1.
2. In reference to UBC Section 3112(a)1, the following priority items have been
