The plan review was performed under the State of Oregon Structural Specialty Code (OSSC)
2004 edition and 2004 Oregon Fire Code as amended by TVF &R. The submitted plans are
approved subject to the following conditions.
The City of Tigard inspector to check the State of Oregon pre - manufactured insignia on -site.
Approved Plans: 1 set of approved plans, bearing the City of Tigard approval stamp, shall be
maintained on the jobsite. The plans shall be available to the Building Division inspectors
throughout all phases of construction. 106.3.1 OSSC
Premises Identification: Approved numbers or addresses shall be provided for all new
buildings in such a position as to be plainly visible and legible from the street or road fronting
the property.
The building plans are approved as submitted by the City of Tigard building department.
When submitting revised drawings or additional information, please attach a copy of the
enclosed City of Tigard, Letter of Transmittal. The letter of transmittal assists the City of
Tigard in tracking and processing the documents.

The plan review was performed under the State of Oregon Structural Specialty Code (OSSC)
2004 edition; the State of Oregon Residential Specialty Code (ORSC) 2005 edition and the
Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue Ordinance 99 -01 (TVFR99 -01) 1999 edition. The submitted plans
have been reviewed and the following information is required prior to issuance of the permit.
1. The fire separation distance on the west side of the structure is 5'. Based on fire
separation distance requirements from OSSC table 602, the west wall of the structure is
required to be of 1 -hour fire resistive construction. Please provide a cross section of this
wall from skirting to the roof and include construction details and the listed 1 -hour
assembly to be used.
2. Openings shown on the West wall exceed the maximum allowable area from OSSC table
704.8. Please revise plans to comply with the wall percentage allowances for protected
and /or unprotected openings as per table 704.8 and equation 7 -2.
3. Combustible projections are required to be of 1 -hour fire residence rated construction
per OSSC 704.2.3. Please provide construction details for roof framing projections into
areas where openings are required to be protected.
4. An accessible route to employee work areas is required per OSSC 1108.4.17. Please
provide construction details for an accessible ramp to the entry.
5. An accessible counter or window is required per OSSC 1108.4.7.2 in accordance with
section 1109.23.2. Please provide an elevation view with dimensions showing a
complying counter or window on the "walk -up" side of the building.
When submitting revised drawings or additional information, please attach a copy of the
enclosed City of Tigard, Letter of Transmittal. The letter of transmittal assists the City of
Tigard in tracking and processing the documents.
