McDonald's General Store McDonald's General Store, owned and operated by Anna and Herb McDonald, was known by that name for over 40 years until it was dismantled in 1955. Located northeast
of Highway 99W and McDonald Road, the store housed the Post Office and the second floor was used for Oddfellow and Rebekkah Lodge meetings. The store dealt in general merchandise, handling
clothing, hardware, farm supplies and eceries.
