Subject: Re: Listed Grease Traps
Ted, We recognize listings by approved listing agency to standards we have adopted. The
Jay R. Smith Grease Interceptor #8025 is listed by both IAPMO and PDI. The XAPMO Listing
is to the ASME A112.14.3 standard which we have not yet adopted and the PDI listing is to
the G -101 standard which we have adopted. The ASME standard is just too new and has not
been considered yet. The PDI G -101 standard has been adopted and was the parent document
used to create the ASME A 112.14.3 standard. Hope this helps.
