Ordinance '84-06 read by title: AN ORDINANCE AMENDINGTMC SECTION 2.04.020, CITY ADMINISTRATOR, AND ;SECTION 2.16.020, , MUNICIPAL COURT JUDGE, ' ADDING PROVISIONS FOR THE APPOINTMENT AND REMOVAL OF THE 'CITY ATTORNEY AND THE RECORDER IN THE TIGARD MUNICIPAL CODE AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. T. Brian moved to adopt Ordinance 84-06. ` J. Cook 'seconded. There was no discussion. Vote:> K. Scheckla-no, I. Scott-no, Mayor Bishop-yes, T. Brian-yes, J. Cook-yes. = The ordinance did not pass unanimously so will require a second reading. : Item 2. Appointment of Economic Development Committee members. A discussion regarding the two candidates for the Economic Development Committee followed. It was decided that additionalcandidatesfrom the 72nd. Avenue area should be recruited. J. Cook moved to amend Resolution 84-11 to 'appoint Robert Nunn to the Economic Development Committee. T. Brian seconded. Vote: K. Scher_kla-no, I. Scott-no Mayor Bishop-yes, T. Brian-yes, J. Cook-yes. Passed 3/2. 3. Request to allow candidates to attend Executive Sessions of Council After discussion, the general consensus was to not allow candidates to attend the Executive Sessions.
