Dear Wilbur,
Please accept my resignation from the Board of Commissioners
of the Tigard Planning Commission.. i`,y reasons are personal
and I do not feal I should burden you with thew..
If, in the future, there should be a vacancy o_. the TiEard
Park Soard which is not com.T i:ted to someone else, I Would
be most grateful if you would consider my appoirtmont to
that Board.
Since I am retired, I have a `neat deal of spare time and
would like to contribute to pro-rams for which i am cualified.
As a lNultnomah County Commissioner thirty ;;rears ago ,
selected by County Co+,«:.issioners Shull and Gleason to organize
a Park Pr o,ram for Multnomah County. i spent a week. with the
King County Commissioners in Seattle and subsequently pattern-
ed many details of Nul nomah County' s Park grogram after whatI had learned in Seattle. T_ realize that was along time ago
but I have retained much of the information I obtained in
Seattle.
My thanks, again, for allowing me to serve on the Tigard
Planning Com;ri:;sion. I feel I was able to c•,ntribute a ;rent
deal of good to the community - even in so short a time.
Sincerely,
Gene W. Rossman.
