FLOOD PLAIN ORDINANCE
Council and staff discussed final draft of proposed ordinance and requested
ordinance as;presented be on next council agenda.
WATER DISTRICT FACILITIES EXPANSION COMPLAINT
City Administrator gave a status report on the problem regarding the
-.-expansion of the water district facilities and stated the Planning Commission
(did take zoning into consideration when approving the site plan. .The City:'.
`.'must enforce Washington County zoning code as the area haF.not been rezoned
to City zoning.
S.W. 109th AVENUE STREET VACATION - SUMMERFIELD PROJECT
City Administrator discussed with Council the proposed street vacation by
:.Washington County. Tualatin Development:.Corporation is infavor ofthe change
and Director of PublicServices and Facilities felt the request was in order.
As this matter is being handled by Washington Countythe item was discussed to keep
Council'-current on developments in the area. - --
OTHER BUSINESS - FANNO CREEK
Council and staff discussed ways to expedite the clearing of Fanno Creek
prior to the fall rains. Staff has contacted the Unified Sewerage Agency
and the contractor working on the sewer interceptor line regarding the City's
concern of flooding problems during the winter season. Council will consider
resolution at next regular meeting regarding the clearing problem.

Special meeting was called with the common consent of the Council for the purpose
of adopting the 1974-75 budget and approving the form for acceptance of
'nominating petitions,
RESOLUTION No. 74-49 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FINAL BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF
TIGARD FOR THE YEAR ENDING JUNE 30,: L975,..MAKING APPROPRIATIONS
AND DECLARING THE AD VALOREM TAX LEVY.FOR THE GENERAL'FUND...
(a) Motion to adopt: Councilman Cook; seconded by Councilman Paterson.
Tony Maksym..testified and asked Council to reconsider their decision
to reduce police personnel but reduce the-:salariesof administrative
help.
Resolution 74-49 was adopted by unanimous vote of Council.
NOMINATING PETITIONS
(a) Motion to approve the form of notification: Councilman Moore, seconded
by;Councilman Cook.
Approved by unanimous vote of Council.
