Special meeting was duly called with common consent of Council rcr
the purpose of considering hardships;created by extending temp: rary
moratorium for issuance of building'permits.
City administrator reviewed the problems with respect to the completion
of interim improvements.on Hiahway 9914 and S W. Gaarde, as well as
the conditions that were imposed in granting exceptions to the building
moratorium.
Interested parties who discussed with Council and%ataff tnerr >;pecific
problems were.•

Developers stated the status of their developments are as follows,
Quadrant Corporation _ 6'homes ready to be occupied in the next 30

Columbia Custom Hames - 5-6 homes ready to be occupied in next 30 dayso

Council adjourne3 for 10 minutes to consult with City Attorney and
Highway Commission representative.
Meeting reconvened and it was the unanimous decision of the Council, to
delay any action until Monday October 16th so that staff and Council
might have consultation with State Highway Commission.
Motion by Councilman Norton to hold special. Council meeting Monday,
84 7.30 P.M.,, October 16, 1972,. at City Administrator's Offices motion
seconded by Councilwoman Paisley,
Approved by unanimous vote of Counchl.
