SPECIAL MEETING, SEPTEMBER 10, 1969, 4:30 P.M.
1. ROLL CALL: Present: Mayor E. G. Kyle; Councilmen Floyd H. Bergmann,
Daniel L. Larsen, Robert C. Moore; Stephen M. Telfer,
City Administrator; Keith C. Thompson, Director of
Public Works; Doris Hartig, City Recorder
Absent: Councilman Thomas M. O'Halloran
Special meeting was duly called by common consent of Council for
the purpose of awarding the contract for Leron Heights Improvement
District,
Attorney Anderson stated he had reviewed the matter and recommended
city award the bid to Bryan Morrison Inc., in that the specifica-
tions were not clear regarding cleanup and restoration of land-
scaping, Attorney Anderson called attention to the wide variance
in bids for restoration and cleanup as indication of misunder-
standing by bidders. Attorney Anderson recommended city award
the bid for $14,252.15; authorize an extra work order for approxi-
mately $2,000. to allow for restoration and request work be started
without further delay. Mr. Morrison expressed his satisfaction
with the recommendation and stated he would restore the property
to the owner's satisfaction.
City Administrator also recommended City award contract and award
additional work order which has conditions stated in it which Mr„
Morrison has reviewed and approved, in the amount of $2,000.
Motion by Councilman Bergmann to award contract to Bryan Morrison
for $14,252,15 and an additional work order for $2,000, for cleanup
and restoration; seconded by Councilman Larsen.
Approved by unanimous vote of Council present.

legal proceedings to secure missing easements on-Leron Heights
project.
