3. MINUTES FOR APPROVAL: July 8, 15, 1968,
(a) Approved as submitted,
4, O.E.A. SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
(a) City Administrator stated Stevens, Thompson and
Runyan recommended bid be awarded to low bidder,
Paul Construction Co, in the amount of $30,003.23.
City Administrator recommended Council award
bid within 30 days to take advantage of low bid.
He further stated City staff was experiencing
some difficulty in getting easements.
(b) Motion by Councilman Bergmann to award bid to
+ Paul Construction Co. in the amount of $30,003.23
and authorize City Attorney to prepare contract
and Mayor sign same. ' Motion seconded by
Councilman Moore.
Approved by unanimous vote of Council present.
(c) City Administrator requested policy clarification
and authorization of payment for easements be of
same amount to all property owners.' City;Attorney
suggested staff 'take option easements on every- ''
thing over 504: per lineal foot and bring back
for:Council approval. 'Council discussed easements
and ;cost of projects further and too:; no action
to change policy.

No testimony from audience. Council and
City,Administrator discussed highlights
of proposed ordinance. City Administrator
stated purpose of code was .to provide
guidelines and standards for sub-dividing
property in City limits.
City.Administrator suggested Council
change Section IX, Subsection A, (3)
whereby concrete sidewalks would be
installed along both sides of each street
where proposed lots are 10,000 square
feet or less in size.
(b) Motion by Councilman Bergmann to amend
proposed ordinance to delete 8,500and insert
10,000 square feet in Section"IX, ;Sub-
section A `,(3). Motion seconded by;Councilman
Moore.
Approved by unanimous vote of Council present.

(c) Motion to adopt ordinance 68-48: Councilman
Moore, seconded;by Councilman Bergmann.
