The plans for the sewer line to serve the annexed area along the Fjgh.;,a• ar., completed and the spec... ifications are being printed, and easements are being ,ac- g3Ared for that line. I have been informed by the Project Engineer of the Metzger Sanitary District that there are some people who live near North Dakota Street who have contacted the M4tzger District regarding sewer service despite the fact that; these people live in the City of Tigard, It would not be feasible for the City of Tigard to serve these people. The Metzger Sanitary District is constructing sewers at the present time: and could arrange to have these people served at a very good'' price. However,:they will not provide this service until it is cleared by;the City of Tigard, The recurring problem of the City's ignorance of :ewer installation in meas intending to eventually annex may lead to a situation wI , ,'ou may feel. that you have to accept completed sewer systems that are below your standards or of questionable construction. I feel that some arrangements sho:ild be made for plans to be checked, and notice should be given the City before these jobs are under construction so that the City will know what is coins on. Mckyor Kyle, We should write a letter to Commonwealth ask® ' ince them to conform to the contract. We 'should also have a 'i mceting with Mr. Thatcher and Mr. Roney. Mr. Meigs, At",rney Anderson and I will draft a memorandum regarding the sewer installations i.n areas intending to`annex to the City. 9-13Q-65 Page 4 Courcilma,i Klock„ 7 move that +,re, authorizer the city engineer, Mr. Meigs, to ad art .se for bids On t-he Bonita .Z'nd-Imtr.ial Area ya!%It:,_y :Sr yrs, .n b!c r. to appicvrvl by On( ,:S, ,iblic S Y r*yir.-ti. Mo_.tc>r= eyscon,b:ed by Cou_,L: ,-- lmn voc. lxd Upon Z{e-ltn : call for vote the motion -in urn ai.moi ply a Z r;vrd ny E rail nembEr t.s iry Z,. :t mayor $yle%e "tttes r;, Andz--nine, Miro -a:%d Y m•.'_: with tt"a s,,_=qh :ty D&P.tnrmta nt ls<'r. _ sct,y, i!ld plans ,a're dianwnd c_..t a;, I:he :rner o -1«d '-ridfixzr; ici :`h._ v.iil. ailov OZ x' 0 on '.:. tte,, Tigard.-Lar-,iv(-i'ton z r ..p in ttht: era..t. bound Eine. and '.! .> ce.as"off the Tic* rd ;2--iortor'e ir, the :_t bound laxio ZZcwa. ,cz t.t;i:s d:,r.., rct Provide for a.,y.;:..r_. goln,Z t:,i +: on the w ,y t:o y[:t c:ff at: 72nd and nor d. .s it_ allc;w for P,ny ,...:z.>M to'thr s.xp 'tsy iv-:+f from that: a.x'oa going toward F..r,a'vee T:ri.
