Result of Election. Motion seconded by Councilman Bergmann.
Upon call for vote the motion was unanimously approved by
Council, majority members present,
Councilman .Bergm =2 T move we authorize the City Engineer
to conduct a 5:.wer study from S.W. 72nd and Bonita Ave.
to the present existing sewer line. Motion seconded by
Councilni3n Shinn. Upon call for vote the 'motion was
unanimously approved by Council, majority,members,present.
Councilman Bergmann. 2 move we hold the public Bearing for
the 1965-1966 Budget June 14, 1965 at 8.00 p.m. Motion

respect to the special election held within the City of Tigard on
the 25th day of May, 1965, herebycertify;
That at the hour of 8:00 a.m., Pacific Daylight Time, on
Tuesday, the 25th day of May, 1965, at the City Hall of the City
of Tigard, ere did open the polls, conduct the election, and keep
the polls continuously open until 8:00 p.m., Pacific Daylight Time,
at whichtimethe polls were closed. That there was submitted to
the legalvotersof theCity of Tigard, Oregon, voting in said
election, the following measure:
51. ` An amendment to theCity:Charter of the City of
Tigard adding a new section numbered 9A of
Chapter II2, establishing the position of City
Manager and authorizing the City Council to
fix the compensation and to prescribe the duties
of the City;Manager.
That from the result of the canvass, the total ballots cast
at said election were votes, of which 73 ballots read
"X YES", and1,,5 7 ballots read "X NO", and �' ballots
.sere improperly marked, and that a majority of the ballots voted
the.'amendment to the City Charter.
