(The answer made by the Engineer, Mr. Runyan, ,was in the affirmative.) T I GARD CITY C OUNC I L MINUTES Or SPECIAL MEETING, JANUARY 6 1964. A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Tigard, Oregon was called to order at 7:30 P. M. on January 6, 1964 in the CouncilChambers at the;City Hall, Tigard, Oregon, with Mayor E. A. Woodard presiding and all Councilman present;' together with City Recorder Ralph V. Symons and Attorney Fred. A. Anderson. Notice of call of the Special Meeting was given to each Councilman more than four hours prior to holding this meeting and is so hereby recorded. Reading of;Minutes of the last regular meeting was, by common consent deferred until the next regular meeting. Present at this meeting, by request of Mayor Woodard, was Mr. Marvin W. 'Runyan, a Consulting Engineer for the City of Tigard of the firm of Stevens and.Thompson, Inc. Mayor Woodard: The purpose of the meeting tonight is to check over the plans of the interceptor sewer and see if it can be approved so we can go ahead .with the procedure of placing it,under contract because it is going to take us about ninety (90) days to get started. we will call upon Mr. Runyan to give us an explanation and to answer any questions thatmay be brought out. i Mr. Runyan then detailed the layout as covered by the plans and answered'questions presented by Councilman members as well as by citizens in the audience. Mayor Woodard: It is understood we should make the one change 11 on theendof Brookside to come in as we have plotted, to come half way; in with an 18" line and stub it so we can take in;the draw when the time comes and then connect the 8" line to it from the lift station. Outside of that I see nothing wrong with the plans. Is the Council in favor of this plan and that one change to be made.- Councilman Klock: I would make a motion that we accept the Plans with that change and;any change that might be ;made by the State Sanitary Authority. Motion seconded by Councilman Bergmann. Unanimously approved by Council all members present. Mr. Runyan asked for'Councillis authority to proceed with the f preparation oflthe legals to present to Attorney Anderson to prepare the easements. ;r Councilman Klock: I move we include that in my previous motion.
