Resolution No. 03-60 CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON RESOLUTION NO. 03- (0 0 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A BID AND APPROVING THE SALE OF SURPLUS REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 13050 SW WALNUT STREET. WHEREAS, the Council on August 26, 2003 declared the real property located at 13050 SW Walnut Street as sinplus property; and WHEREAS, the Council ku-ther authorized the City Manager or designee to offer the property for sale in accordance with TMC 3.44.010; and WHEREAS, staff has conducted an Invitation to Bid process in accordance with Council direction and TMC 3.44.010; and WHEREAS,the appraised value of the property is$18,290; and WHEREAS,the City has received an acceptable bid for the property in the amount of$20,500; NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that: SECTION 1: The sale of the property located at 13050 SW Walnut continues to be in the public's interest. SECTION 2: The public offering of the property has been consistent with the process detailed in TMC 3.44.010. SECTION 3: The bid received in the amount of$20,500 is acceptable for the property. SECTION 4. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to sign all documents necessary to complete the sale of this property. SECTION 5: This resolution is effective immediately upon passage.
