WHEREAS, this matter came before the Tigard City Council,acting as the governing body of the City of
Tigard,at its regular meeting of March 23, 1999;and
WHEREAS, it appearing to the Tigard City Council that it is a participating jurisdiction in the Washington
County Consolidated Communications Agency("Agency"), an organization created by intergovernmental
agreement ("Intergovernmental Agreement") and pursuant to ORS 190.010, for purposes of performing
functions of a 9-1-1 public safety answering point and initiating appropriate response,and
WH&E EAS, it appearing to the Tigard City Council that tha City of Banks has re;iuested me rbe�..".ip i..
the Agency;and pursuant to paragraph 9 of the Intergovernmental Agreement,increased membership in the
Agency requires unanimous approval of all Agency participating jurisdictions;and
WHEREAS, it appearing to the Tigard City Council that the Intergovernmental Agreement should be
amended to facilitate the proposed increase in membership,
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that: Tigard City Council hereby
approves,effective 3/23/99,an increase in the Washington County Consolidated Communications Agency
participating jurisdiction membership to include the City of Banks,
