TIGARD AND THE OREGON PUBLIC EMPLOYEES UNION LOCAL 199 TO ADD THE
CLASSIFICATION OF CODE COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST AT RANGE 41 IN THE FY 1996-97 �x
SALARY SCHEDULE. i t
WHEREAS, the duties and responsibilities of a proposed new position in the Community Development v, t
Department,Current Planning Division,have been reviewed by Human Resources and the creation of a
new classification of Code Compliance Specialist at Salary Range 41 has been recommended;
i WHEREAS,the new classification is appropriate for representation by the Oregon Public Employees
Union Local 199;

WHEREAS,in order to establish the salary for the new position it is necessary to amend the current labor
agreement between the City of Tigard and the Oregon Public Employees Union Local 199; �'i
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that: g0

SECTION 1: An amended Appendix B of the current labor agreement between the City of Tigard and
the Oregon Public Employees Union,Local 199,is attached hereto and identified as ,
Exhibit A;
SECTION 2: The Council orders the amendment to the current labor agreement effective
April 22,1997.
