WHEREAS, Metro has developed a process to prioritize acquisition efforts in Regional Greenspaces

Target Areas to achieve pre-determined objectives;
WHEREAS, this process affords local governments,citizens and other stakeholders the opportunity to lg�l
help determine land acquisition priorities for the Target Areas;
WHEREAS;private land located along the Tualatin River immediately east of Tigard's Cook Park,said
land commonly known as the Thomas Dairy,contains potentially important wetland areas,
WHEREAS, the Unified Sewerage Agency(USA)obtained an option to purchase the Thomas Dairy ;
property;
WHEREAS,USA desires to obtain_bond measure funding to assist in the purchase of the wetland portions.
