Resolution No. 95-72 CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON RESOLUTION NO.95-Z A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF A COMMERCIAL PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE CORNER OF 99W AND 72ND AVENUE FORMERLY KNOWN AS THE AMERICAN LEGION PROPERTY AND SETTING MINIMUM TERMS WHEREAS,after holding a hearing in accordance with TMC 3.44.015,and the City Council has expressed its desire to dispose of property located at the corner of 99W and 72nd Avenue; and WHEREAS, the Council has determined that the minimum acceptable terms of the sale should be $56,000 based upon an appraisal updated in October 1995, NOW, THEREk--ORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that: Section 1: Property owned by the City located at the corner of 99W and 72nd Avenue known as the American Legion property shaii be offered for sale in accordance with TNTC 3.44.015. Section 2: The minimum acceptable terms shall be set at$56,000. Section 3: If no acceptable bids are received, the City ,Administrator or designee is authorized to list the property with a broker in accordance with TMC 3.44.015(H). Section 4: The City Administrator or designee is authorized to negotiate and sign documents on behalf of the City to complete the sale transaction. Section 5: The Finance Director is directed to deposit the net proceeds from the sale to the Traffic Impact Fee Fund. PASSED: This q— day of DpC[n , 1995.
