Resolution No. 96-06 CITY OF TIGARD,OREGON RESOLUTION NO.96-Oef, ARESOLUTION UPON CITY COUNCIL REVIEW TO ADOPT THE RESULTS OF THE t CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION STUDY AS IT RELATES TO THE ? MANAGEMENT AND PROFESSIONAL GROUP,SPECIFICALLY TO AMEND THE EXISTING FY1995-96 SALARY SCHEDULE FOR THE MANAGEMENT AND PROFESSIONAL GROUP EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1,1996;TO ADD VISION INSURANCE AS A BENEFIT FOR THE MANAGEMENT AND PROFESSIONAL GROUP EFFECTIVE APRIL 1,1996;AND, TO MAKE TWO ADJUSTMENTS TO THE CURRENT IMPLEMENTATION OF MEASURE 8 FOR THE MANAGEMENT AND PROFESSIONAL R GROUP. ". 9 r WHEREAS, the Tigard City Council reviewed the results of the 1995 City wide Classification and Compensation Study for the Management and Professional Group, WHEREAS,the Council reviewed two issues related to its implementation of Measure 8 for the Management and Professional Group; NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that: �k Section 1. An amended FY95-96 Salary Schedule for the Management and Professional Group implementing the results of the 1995 Classification and Compensation Study are specified as set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto. te, Section 2, The Council orders that,pursuant to the recommendations of the 1995 Classification and Compensation Study,vision insurance be added to the current benefits available to the Management and Professional Group,to be effective April 1,1996. Section 3. The Council orders that,regarding its implementation of Measure 8;the 61/. currently being set aside for tlic Management and Professional Group,will e:m .;', interest at the local gover-unent pool rate.Further,if Measure 8 is ruled invalid, t -and if IRS regulations and plan rules permit it,employee's may elect to have `. the 6%referenced above paid to them as salary(the employee's tax will be withheld,and the City will pay FICA). .., ., m� s �y PASSED: .This 7 .day of `�?Ult.L�- 1996.
