Resolution No. 94-44 CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON RESOLUTION NO. 94-1_ A RESOL:.aION INITIATING ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF TIGARD OF THE TERRITORY AS DESCRIBED IN EMRIBIT "A' AND OUTLINED IN EXHIBIT -B" ATTACHED. (ZCA 94-03, BURGHARDT) WHErEAS, tate C ty Council of the City of Tigard held a public hearing on September, 27, 1994 to consider the annexation of tyro parcels consisting of approximately 1.01 acres located east of nail Blvd. and north and auuu& 0.- Street; £Street; and WHEREAS, the proposed amiexatiori constitutes a "minor boundary change- under Boundary CommLssion Law 199.410 to 199.519; and WHEREAS, ORS 199.490(5)(a) gives the governing body the authority to initiate a minor bound.4ry change by adoptio= of a resolution; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by, the Tigard City Council that: Section 7: The City Council, pursuant to ORS 199.490(5)(a) hereby initiate proceedings for annexation of the territory described in exhibit -A- and outlined in exhibit "'B- to the City of Tigard. Section 2: The City Council hereby approves the proposed annexation and requests the Portlaxnd Metropolitan Area Iocai Government Boundary Commission to approve it and effect it as soon as possible; and Section 3: The City Recorder is Hereby directed to file certified copies of the resolution with the Portland Metropolitan Area Local Go-t•ernment Bounda--��r11y Commission at once.
