RESOLUTION NO. 93-�
A RESOLUTION AFFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT OF TIGARD COUNCILOR JUDY FESSLER
AS REPRESENTATIVE TO THE METRO POLICY ADVISORY COMMITTEE (MPAC) WHO HAS
BEEN DULY APPOINTED JOINTLY BY THE GOVERNING BODIES OF CITIES WITHIN
TERRITORY IN THE METRO AREA IN WASHINGTON COUNTY OTHER THAN THE CITY IN
WAS COUNTY WITH THE LARGEST POPULATION ALTERNATE (BEAVERTON) EXETRO CHARTER
SECTION 27 (1) (g)7 AND NAMING AN
wnvr� ,S, on November 2, 1992, the voters of the Metropolitan Service
District approved a home rule charier fur ti7a Port3an' area metropolitan
service district, to be called Metro, and
WHEREAS, said charter specifies that the Metro council shall adopt a
regional framework plan by December 31, 1997 with the consultat±on and
advice of the Metro Policy Advisory Committee (MPAC) created under
Section 27 of the Metro charter, and
WHEREAS, a City-County meeting was duly called and held on January 21,
1993, 5:30 p.m., at the Public Services Building Auditorium, Hillsboro,
Oregon, for the election of the MPAC representative and alternate as
hereinabove referenced.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
Section 1: Judy Fessler, Tigard City Councilor, is hereby affirmed
by the Tigard City Council as the initial representative
to the Metro Policy Advisory Committee reference the
provisions of Metro Charter Section 27 (1) (g) -
Section 2: Richard Kidd, Forest Grove City Councilor, Is hereby
affirmed by tha Tigard City Council as the. initial
alternate representative to -the Metro Policy Advisory
Committee/.
