( RESOLUTION NO. 92--Q
A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING INSURANCE REIMBURSEMENT REVENUE FROM THE
DESTRUCTION OF A POLICE CAR AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR ITS REPLACEMENT.
WHEREAS, on August 16, 1992 a police car was struck on Highway 217 and was found to be
beyond repair, and,
WHEREAS, local budget law allows the City Council to deal budgetarily with the involuntary
destruction of City assets by resolution,
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
k— Section 1: Revenue from insurance proceeds is recognized in the General Fund in the

amount of$12,500.
Section 2: Appropriations in the General Fund for replacement of the police car are approved
as follows:
Police Capital Equipment $15,500
General Fund Contingency ( 3,000)
