A RESOLUTION INITIATING ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF TICARD OF THE TERRITORY AS
OUTLINED IN EXHIBIT "A" AND DESCRIBED IN EXHIBIT ^E^ ATTACHED. (ZCA 92-01)

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tigard held a public hearing on March
10, 1992 to consider the annexation of two parcels consisting of approximately
2.44 and 14.39 acre located at 12000 S.W. Bull Mountain Road; and
MMREAS, ORS 399.490(1)(a) gives the governing «;dr tha authority Lo initiar-o a
minor boundary charge by adoption of a resolution; and
WHEREAS, the proposed annexation constitutee a -minor boundary change" under
Boundary com3-osion Law 199.410 to 199.534; and
WHEREAS, the applicant has requested that this annexation be processed by the
expedited method without the boundary commission's study, public hearing, and
adoption of a final order; and
WHEREAS, the City Council may request that the proposad annexation be approved
without the boundary commission's study, public hearing and adoption of a final
order as authorized by ORS 199.466.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City council that:
Section 1: The City Council, nur3.3antto ORS 199.490(i)(a) hereby initiates
proceedings for annexat ion of the territory outlined in exhibit "A"
E,. and described in exhibit "B" to the City of Tigard.
Section 2: The City Council heretiy approves the proposed annexation and
ezuosts that the Boundary Commission approve and effect it as soon
as possible.
Section 3: The city Recorder is hereby directed to file certified copies of the
resolution with the Portland Metropolitan Area Local Government
Bounda(r^yt Commission at once.

A tract of land situated the Northwest 4 of Section 10, Township 2
South, Range 1 West, Willamette Meridian, Washington County,
Oregon, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the South line of Section 10 being 1954.06
feet east of the Southwest corner of the Northwest one-quarter and
112.54 feet South of the Southwest corner of Lot 2 Helm Heights,
said point being the Southwest corner of the 5.0 acre tract
conveyed to Clarence W. Batterson, et ux, as described in Book 131
on Page 586 of said County Deed Records; thence North along the
west line of said 5.0 acre tract and extension thereof 923.66 feet
to the center line of S.W. Bull Mountain Road (County Road 147'0;
thence by the center line of S.W. Bull Mountain Road, South 84*55'
