RESOLUTION NO. 91—
A RESOLUTION OF THE TIGAIZI) CITY COUNCIL ES'T'ABLISHING A RESIDENTIAL
PARKING ZONE FOR THE CITY STREETS AROUND THE TIGARD HIGH SCHOOL
INCLUDING 87TH; 88TH; 92ND; 93RD; MARTHA; MILLEN; STRATFORD LOOP
AND COURT; AVON STREET AND COURT; AND JULIA PLACE
WHEREAS, pursuant to Tigard Municipal Code Section 10.32.010, the
City Council has the authority to establish residential parking
zones; and
WHEREAS, residents near Tigard High School have been experiencing
problems with high school students parking vehicles on residential
streets and congregating near the vehicles cduring school hours; and
WHEREAS, residents on or near the following streets near Tigard
High School have voted favorably for tlae establishment of a
residential parking zone:
87th, 88th, 92nd, 932fd, Martha, Mi11en, Stratford Loop
and Court, Avon Street and Court and Julia Place;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
Section 1. The geographic limits or tihe residential parking
zone near Tigard High Schoc>l are shown on a map,
attached hereto and incorporated herein as
Exhibit "A".
Section 2_ Parking on the streets within the residential
parking zone without a permit will be prohibited on
days when school is in session from 8:00 a.m. to
3:00 p.m.
Section 3. A permit fee of $10.00 per year is established for
the processing of each request for a permit..
