( CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON \ RESOLUTION NO. 91- S3 A RESOLUTION INITIATING ANNEXATION TO TEL CITY OF TIG31= OF THE TERRITORY Ar - DESCRIBED IN EXHIBIT "A" AND OUTLINED IN EXHIBIT "B" ATTACHED. (ZCA. 91-13) (PARSONS) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tigard held a public hearing on July 23, 1991 to consider the annexation of a parcel consisting of approximately .94 acres located at the S.W. corner of Bull Mt. Road and 126th Avenue; and WHEREAS, ORS 199.490(1)(a) gives the governing body the authority to initiate a minor boundary change by adoption of a resolution; and WHEREAS, the proposed annexation constitutes a "minor boundary change" under Boundary Commission Law 199.410 to 199.534; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that: Section 1: The City Council, pursuant to ORS 199.490(1)(a) hereby initiates proceedings for annexation of the territory legally described Irl exhibit "A" and shown in exhibit "S" to the City of Tigard. Section 2: The City Council hereby approves the proposed annexation and requests that the Boundary Commission approve and effect it as soot_ as possible. Section 3: The City Recorder is hereby directed to file certified copies of the resolution with the Portland Metropolitan rhea Local Government _! Bou:ndary Commission at once.
