A RESOLUTION INITIATING ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF TIGARD OF THE TERRITORY AS OUTLINED
IN EXHIBIT "A" AND DESCRIBED IN EXHIBIT "B" ATTACHED (ZCA 89-10 SEIYU).
WHEREAS, the City council of the City of Tigard held a public hearing on December 4,
1989, to consider the annexation of seven parcels consisting o.F 96.86 acres located
north of S.W. Bull Mountain Road and High Tor Subdivision and west of Benchview
Estates Subdivision (WCTM 2S1, tax lots 900, 1000, and 1100, and WCTM 2S1 9, tax lots
ICI, 102, 103, and 104); and
WHEREAS, ORS 199.490(1)(a) gives the governing body the authority to initiate a minor
boundary change by adoption of a resolution; and
WH$RZAS, the proposed annexation constitutes a "minor boundary change" under Boundary
Commission Law 199.410 to 199.510.
NOW, TIMRSFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
Section 1: The City Council, pursuant to ORS 199.490(1)(a) hereby initiates
proceedings for annexation of the territory Outlined in exhibit "A" and
described in exhibit ^B" to the City.
Section 2: The Council hereby approves the proposed annexation and requests the
Boundary Commission to approve it and effect it as soon as possible.
Section 3: The City Recorder is hereby directed to file certified copies of the
resolution with the Portland Metropolitan Areal Local Government Boundary
Commission at once.

A parcel of land located inthe southwest quart:r of Section 4, and the
northwest quarter of Section_ 9, Township 2 South, Range 1 West, Willamette
Meridian, Washington County, Oregon, being describe, as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of the southeast quarter of the southwest
quarter of said Section 41 on the existing city limits of the City of Tigard;
thence westerly, leaving said city limits, on the north line of parcels 6, 7,
and 8 as described in that conveyance recorded as fie no. 89-42642, Washington
County Deed records, approxinately 2540 feet to the northwest corner of said
parcel 6 (said northwest corner being on the east line of Bonneville Power
Administration right-.of-way and 100 feat east of the west line of said Section
4); thence southerly, on said east right-of-way line, approximately 1320 feet
to the south line of said Section 4; thence easterly, on said south line,
approximately 3.220 feet to the northwest corner of the east half of the
