RESOLUTION NO. 88-441
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL SUPPORTING THE INCLUSION OF TIGARD PROPERTY IN A
CITY OF PORTLAND LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the City of Portland seeks to institute a Local lmprovemerit District
(LID) on SW 65th Avenue between Oak Street and Pomona Street adjacent to the City
of Tigard.
WHEREAS, the City of Tigard property, known as Tax Lot 2201, is currently owned by
Gilbert E. Pierce, Grace Piercy and Jules Kessler.
WHEREAS, the Tigard property owners of Tax Lot 2201 have signed the City of
Portland LID petition supporting the street improvement.
WHEREAS, the Tigard property owners have conveyed a portion of their property to
the City of Portland project to be used as public right-of-way.
WHEREAS, the City of Portland will comply with the requirements of ORS 223.878

WHEREAS, the City of Portland will seek a resolution Fro;, Washington County
approving the improvement of that portion of SW 65th Avenue between Pomona Street
and Oak Street according to ORS 223.878.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: The Council hereby supports the inclusion of the Tigard property,
Tax Lot 2201, in the City of Portland Local Improvement District.
