RESOLUTION NO. 67-/l-
A RESOLUTION CONCERNING VACATION OF A PORTION OP SW 69th AVENUE, A DEDICATED
PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY, AND ADJOINING PUBLIC UTI1ITY EASEMENTS WITHIN WAY LEE, A
RECORDED PLAT, IN T14E CITY OF TIGARD, WASHINGTON COUNTY, OREGON.
WHEREAS, City staff is requesting Council to initiate street right-of-way and
Public utility easement vacation proceedings to assist_ with the completion of
SW 68th Parkway Street LID No. 35; and
WHEREAS, this portion of land was previously dedicated for street right-of-way
and public utility purposes, it has been determined to not be needed by the
City for these purposes; and
WHEREAS, the Tigard City Council finds it necessary and desirable to initiate
vacation proceedings for said parcel.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
1. That the Tigard City Council initiates the vacation request with the
understanding that those property owners who would normally sign a
petition shall be notified by mail of the proceedings;
2. That a public hearing is hereby called to be held by the City Council on
Monday, October, 26, 1967, at 7:30 PM at the Tigard Civic Center, Town Hall
Room, 13125 SW Hall Blvd. , within the City of Tigard, at which time and
place the Council shall hear any objections thereto, and any interested
person may appear and be heard for or against the proposed vacating of
said lands.
3. That the City Recorder be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed to
cause to have published in the Tigard Times, a newspaper of general
circulation in the City of Tigard hereby designated for such purpose, a
notice of said hearing in the form hereto attached and by this reference
made a part hereof-, the first publication to be September 24, 1987 and
once each week thereafter for five publishings in all.
The Recorder be, and she is hereby, further directed to cause to have
posted within five (5) days after the date or first publication, a copy
of said notice in the form attached, at or near- each end of the area
proposed to be vacated.

A. That the particular portion of dedicated public right-of-way and public
utility easements proposed to be vacated are described on the attached
sheets headed Exhibit "A" and Exhibit "8" and by reference made a part
hereof.

A portion of SW 69L-h Avenue in the northeast quarter of Section 36, Township 1
South, Range 1 West, Willamette Meridian, Washington County Oregon being more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point which bears N 890 43' 42" W 1.00 foot from the southerly
corner of Lot 2, WAY LEE, a recorded plat of said county's plat records, sakid
point being on a curve concave to the northeast having a radius of 171.00
feet; thence northwesterly along said curve 180.52 feet through a central
angle of 60" 29' 03"; thence S 290 29' 01" E 141.22 feet to a non—tangent
curve concave to the northeast having a radius of 221.00 feet; thence along
said curve 81.07 feet through a central angle of 21- 01' 05"; thence N 001 40'
01" W 50.00 feet to the point of beginning.

West 10 feet to a non-tangent curve concave to the northeast having a radius
