A RESOLUTION FURTHERING ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF TIGARD OF THE TERRITORY AS
OUTLINED IN EXHIBIT "A" AND DESCRIBED EXHI8IT "B" ATTACHED. (SCHOLLS T=ERRY
ROAD) ZCA 11-86.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tigard held a public hearing on
September 22, 1986, to consider the annexation of Scholls Ferry Road
right-of-way;; and
WHEREAS, ORS 199.490 (1)(a) gives the governing body the authority to proceed
with a minor boundary change by adoption of a resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Tigard City Council has determined that the annexation of the
Scholls Ferry Road right-of-way is in the best interest of the citizens of
Tigard;
WHEREAS, the proposed annexation is in accordance with ORS 490 and constitutes
a "minor boundary change" under Boundary Commission Law, 199.410 to 199.510.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
Section 1: The Council hereby approves the prop-sed annexation and
requests the Commission to approve it and effect it as soon as
possible.
Section 2: The City Recorder is hereby directed to file certified copies
of the resolution with the Portland Metropolitan Area Local
Government Boundary Commission at once.

SW Scholls Ferry Road
That portion of SW Scholls Ferry Road (County Road 348) located in the NE
quarter of Section 33, Township 1 South, Range 1 West, Willamette Meridian,
Washington County, Oregon, described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of said SW Scholls Ferry Roast,
and the northerly extension of the east right—of—way line of SW 135th Avenue
(County Road 934), said point of beginning also being on the existing city
limit of the City of Tigard; thence northeasterly on said centerline
approximately 698 feet to the existing city limit of the City of Beaverton;
thence on said centerline and said existing city limit northeasterly
approximately 700 f,,et to the most easterly northeast corner of that tract of
land conveyed to Burton F. Grabborn by deed recorded in Book 316, Page 11,
Washington County Deed Records (said northeast corner also being on the
existing city limit of the City of Tigard); thence southerly on said city
limit, approximately 35 feet to the south right—of—way line of said SW Scholls
Ferry Road (being 60 feet in width); thence southwesterly on said south
right—of—way line approximately 1,400 feet to the west right—of—way line of
SW 135th Avenue, and the existing city limit of the City of Tigard; thence
northerly on said existing city limit approximately 35 feet to the point of
beginning, containing approximately 42,000 square feet.
